Staff Members

	Laurie Mossop is the owner, administrator, and part-time directress (teacher). Laurie has been working with preschool aged children for over 12 years, including 8 years as a Montessori preschool directress, both in Vancouver and in Switzerland. She has a BA from UBC, an AMI Montessori teaching certificate for 3-6 year olds, an Early Childhood Educator's certificate (ECE), as well as first aid training. She is constantly moved by the children she works with and feels privileged to be able to be part of their lives. She grew up in Vancouver and is very happy to be able to contribute something to the city in the form of a new preschool. The process of creating the school has been creative, challenging, and fulfilling for her and she looks forward every day to providing a warm and rich environment for the children at the school. In her spare time Laurie takes dance classes, goes hiking, does yoga, cooks delicious vegetarian food, and spends time with her family.
	Cindy Hsu is the other part-time directress. She has an AMI Montessori teaching certificate for 3-6 year olds, a degree from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, an ECE certificate, and first aid training. She has a lot of experience working with children both in a Montessori setting as well as in her own art classes. Cindy brings a beautiful aesthetic sense, precise teaching, and a warm smile to the preschool.
	Joyce Wong is the full-time assistant. She has been working with young children for 8 years. She has a BSC from UBC, a Montessori assistant's certificate, an ECE certificate, and first aid training. She is patient and gentle and enjoys badminton, hiking, reading, and cooking in her spare time.
